Peterbilt’s extended day cab option adds 10 inches to its standard cab length. Additionally, the extended cab offers 2.5 inches of additional seat travel behind the wheel, 92 percent more seat room to recline and 4.5 cubic feet of storage behind the driver’s seat. The extended day cab provides optimal comfort for vocational, regional and shorter haul applications where performance and efficiency is critical to success.

Peterbilt recognizes that day cab customers are demanding more comfort, more storage space and additional room to perform their job. With nearly 5 cubic feet of additional storage space in an easily accessible rear wall three compartment module, the new Peterbilt day cab was designed with customer comfort and productivity as key deliverables.

• The Ultra day cab provides 5.4” of additional headroom and .5 cubic feet of conveniently accessible front header storage.
• Up to 3.5 inches of additional frontal space is now available between the steering wheel and the seat back expanding the driver’s comfort zone
• Driver and passenger seat recline is almost doubled from 12° to 23°
• There is 4 cubic feet of built-in rear wall storage compartments designed to hold equipment and standard hanging files for organizing paperwork.
• This extension is available on Models 389, 388, 386, 384, 367 and 365.
